Meter/Custody Transfer Skid

The gas changes hands at various nodes of the network. Whenever the custody transfer takes place, a flow measurement device is of utmost importance. Gas metering and regulating skids are used at city gate, in distribution networks, industrial, commercial, underground or domestic use. The system parameters like pressure, flow and temperature govern the selection and sizing of a gas meter. The range includes both volumetric and mass flow meters – Cariolis meters, Positive Displacement Meters, Orifice Type Meters, Turbine Type Gas Meters and Multipath Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meters.

Depending on the flow capacity, available inlet pressure and required outlet pressure, custom designs of metering and regulating stations are available. Metering and regulating gas stations are usually designed as skid mounted, on steel skid frame in metal cabinet or canopy, for convenient transport and mounting.

Control Plus has supplied over 500 Skids with variety of meters ranging from RPD Meters to Ultrasonic Flow Meters. These metering skids can be integrated with filtration, odorization and/or pressure regulating skids to form a comprehensive package of skids.
