City Gate Skids
High-pressure gas transmission pipelines move the gas from the exploration site to gas distribution companies for utilization and sale to end consumers. The pressure of this gas needs to be reduced to acceptable levels for distribution networks. Also the custody transfer occurs when a transmission company sells gas to distribution company/end customer. This junction is generally referred to as City Gate Skid, usually installed at the starting point of the networks in any city.
City gate stations are composed of a complex array of valves, pipes, meters and pressure reduction devices designed to measure the gas flow and reduce its pressure so that it can be delivered safely to customers through distribution networks consisting of local gas mains, smaller-diameter service lines, and individual customer meters.
We, at Control Plus have designed, engineered, manufactured, tested, supplied and commissioned City Gate Stations (CGS) for very critical applications at important junctions of our customer networks. Our engineered instruments like gas chromatograph, heating system, and odorizer are designed and tested to meet customers’ expectations of continuous trouble free and highly accurate gas conditioning. We are known for products with rugged construction, easy maintenance, and overall reliability.
